IncomeMax CIC ("we" or "us") are committed to respecting and protecting your privacy.

This privacy policy (together with our website terms of use and any other documents referred to in it) sets out the basis on which we process information which we collect about you or which you provide to us (your "User Information") in connection with your use of: 

our website www.incomemax.org.uk ("our site"); 

any products, information or services provided on our site or by the IncomeMax team (together the "Service").

we are the data controller of the User Information; and

YOUR USER INFORMATION

The User Information we hold securely if you join ‘Our Community’ includes Personal Information. This is information which relates to you and from which you can be identified. It can include information such as your name, email address and telephone number. 

If you use our ‘Personal Money Advice’ Service then additional Personal Information is held securely on our CRM for six years. This can include financial information, family information, housing information as well as information about health, disabilities and debts. We may create Anonymous Data from the User Information we hold about you by removing all of the Personal Information. 

Whilst we take reasonable care of all of the User Information we hold about you, we take particular precautions in relation to your Personal Information and treat all of your Personal Information in accordance with the Act.

We obtain the User Information we hold in the following ways:

Information you give to us. You may give us information by filling out forms on our site or corresponding with us. This includes information when you register to use the Service and may include your name, address, email address and phone number.

Information we receive through direct contact with our team. We may receive information from 

(a) the institutions and partners which refer customers to us, with the Users consent 

(b) the User, through telephone conversations, face-to-face contact or other communications with the team

(a) Cookies are small data files produced by almost all websites to perform certain functions. The term "cookies" also includes similar technologies for collecting information including web beacons. 

(b) Cookies allow us to collect aggregated data about your access to our site.

(d) The only cookies on our site that are set by third parties are those provided by Google Analytics. Google Analytics gathers anonymous information for the benefit of all users of the internet and to allow us to serve you with advertising that is relevant to you. (e) The only behavioural or targeting cookies are those that are set by Google Analytics.

HOW WE USE YOUR USER INFORMATION

We use your User Information for the following purposes:

We will only contact you by electronic means (such as SMS or email) to tell you about products or services you might be interested in if:

you are an existing customer and the products or services are similar to those we have previously supplied to you or which you have enquired about; or

Where we permit third parties to use your information for marketing purposes, they will only contact you by electronic means (such as SMS or email) if you have consented to this.

SECURITY OF YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION

We take all steps reasonably necessary to ensure that your Personal Information is treated securely and in accordance with our privacy policy.

We transfer Personal Information to destinations outside the European Economic Area (EEA). Four Customer Relationship Management System is held on Salesforce which is headquartered in the US and when we transfer your User Information to them, it may be held on servers outside the EEA. Salesforce fully complies with all relevant law and legisation, the aim of which is to ensure that companies in the US provide sufficient protection for personal data from EU countries..

Once we have received your User Information, we will use strict procedures and security features to prevent unauthorised access including:

by encrypting any Personal Information which we transfer to Salesforce and

having in place an agreement with Salesforce which requires it to have in place appropriate measures to safeguard the security of the Personal Information we send to them.
